US Airways passengers stranded in Charlotte use Twitter to vent complaints - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Stranded at an airport gate in Charlotte, N.C. with nobody around to hear their bellyaches, a number of South Florida-bound US Airways passengers quickly found that Twitter was their friend.

Several passengers, including a Port St. Lucie councilwoman, took to the social media airways late Thursday to vent after they said an airline employee went off for a walk and never came back. At least 150 dumbfounded passengers hoping to board an evening flight for West Palm Beach were left abandoned at the gate, they complained.
